Tata Steel is currently trading at Rs. 591.20, down by 4.10 points or 0.69% from its previous closing of Rs. 595.30 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 592.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 596.50 and Rs. 587.15 respectively. So far 88687 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 747.25 on 31-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 403.41 on 05-May-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 610.00 and Rs. 584.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 85312.86 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 31.35%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.59% and 21.58% respectively.

Tata Steel achieved a 6.88% rise in production in FY18 to 12.48 million tonne (MT) in its Indian operations with sales increasing by 10.97% to 12.13 MT during the year. In Europe, however, the company’s sales remained flat during the fiscal at 9.93 MT, while production showed a marginal rise to 10.68 MT over 10.56 MT in FY17. In Q4FY18, Tata Steel India reported a production of 3.07 MT with sales at 3.01 MT.
