JSW Steel is currently trading at Rs. 304.30, up by 2.00 points or 0.66% from its previous closing of Rs. 302.30 on the BSE.The scrip opened at Rs. 302.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 305.55 and Rs. 300.90 respectively. So far 46392 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 320.50 on 27-Feb-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 184.30 on 23-May-2017.Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 305.55 and Rs. 288.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 73604.36 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 41.68%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.16% and 20.15% respectively.JSW Steel has reported crude steel production of 1.52 million tonnes (MT) in March 2018, a growth of 5% over the corresponding month in 2017. The production of 1.52 MT for the month of March 2018 signifies a capacity utilization of 101%.

The production of rolled products (long) increased to 0.37 MT as compared to 0.27 MT in March 2017, representing a surge of 34%. The production of rolled products (flat) remained flat at 1.05 MT in March 2018.
The company has also reported crude steel production of 4.31 MT for Q4 2017-18 with Y-o-Y growth of 5%, while it reported crude steel production of 16.27 MT for FY 2017-18 with growth of 3% over previous year.
