Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) was the most active stock by volume on NSE. The stock witnessed choppy trade on Friday. The stock gained for some time during the morning hours to touch its intraday high of Rs 102.3 per share, up by 4.7%.

The total traded volume of HUDCO stood at 6,12,11,739 shares and the total traded value stood at Rs 596.5 crore as of 1122 hours on Friday. The stock slipped to its intraday low of Rs 91.3 per share, down by 6.5%.

Other housing finance companies were also losing during Friday’s trade. Sahara Housing Finance was the top loser in the segment trading at Rs 83.5 per share, down by 8.09%. India Home Loan Limited was the second top loser in the housing finance companies trading at Rs 111.2 per share down by 4.96%. Ind Bank Housing, PNB Housing, GIC Housing and Gruh Finance were also down by over 1.5%.

Meanwhile, Nifty was trading at 9,863 level, down by 28 points. Sensex was trading at 31,978 level, down by 58 points.
