Atul Limited reported that Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has cancelled the closure notice of the company’s Tarapur plant upon proving connectivity of the on-line effluent monitoring system to CPCB.

The company confirmed that during the closure period there was no material impact on the operations of the company. Now, after the cancellation of the closure, the operations in the Tarapur plant was again resumed.

Atul Limited was trading at Rs 2,502, up by 2.04% on BSE at 1412 hours. It opened on Thursday at Rs 2,469, while on Wednesday it closed at Rs 2,451.90. The scrip touched its intraday high and low at Rs 2,547.95 and Rs 2,436.60, respectively. Its 52-week high stood at Rs 2,588 and low at Rs 1,885.
