Indian electric utility company, Tata Power on Tuesday’s trading session is sizzling on the bourses, as the company is expected to dilute its share in Indian Energy Exchange (IEE) through its IPO.

Tata Power Company is one of the shareholder in IEE among others. IEE has recently filled its DRHP with market regulator SEBI to float its IPO.

Aditya Birla Group, Renuka Ramnath-led Multiples Alternate Asset Management, AF Holdings, Kiran Vyapar Limited, Golden Oak (Mauritius) Ltd, IEX’s former chief executive Jayant Deo and Madison India Capital are the other shareholders in IEE.

Tata Power on the NSE has delivered a 7.5% in a period of one year and has outperformed the BSE Mid cap and BSE Power indices over the same time span.
