Peninsula Land, a leading real estate company on Wednesday declined by more than 6% in the morning session on the BSE. It is trading down 6.6% at Rs 24.65 at 10:21 AM IST on BSE.

The company on Tuesday announced its financial result for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2017. It reported a standalone net loss of Rs 114.75 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as against a standalone net profit of Rs 25.98 crore for the same quarter in the previous year, as per BSE filing.

The stock hit a high of Rs 25.45 and a low of Rs 23.50 so far. Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex is up 243 points at 30,177 and NSE Nifty is up 63 points at 9380.

Peninsula Land Limited is engaged in the business of real estate development. Its segments include realty, renting and others. The company's projects include retail ventures, commercial projects and residential complexes.
