Tata Motors on Sunday announced that its fully owned subsidiary, TAL Manufacturing, has received 'CE' certification for the Made-in-India robot 'BRABO' for its commercial sale in Europe.

"The TAL BRABO now complies with essential requirements relevant to European health, safety and environmental legislation, permitting export of the TAL BRABO Robot to customers in Europe," said Tata Motors spokesperson in an official release.

The auto major on April 1 had reported an 8% increase in total sales in March at 57,145 units as compared to 53,057 units in the same month last year. Cumulative sales of the company for the 2016-17 fiscal stand at 5,42,561 units, up 6 per cent over 5,11,705 vehicles sold in 2015-16. 

At 1.00 pm, on Monday, stocks of Tata Motors were trading at Rs 469, up by Rs 3.05 or 0.65%, compared to its previous close of Rs 465.95.
