SPML Infra received new orders worth Rs 250 crore for power Transmission & Distribution projects in West Bengal and Haryana.

According to an official communique, order worth Rs 106.92 crore has come from West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company for setting up rural power infrastructure development facilities in Murshidabad district. The company will also be implementing another order worth Rs 89.4 crore.

The scope of work in this case will include setting up of extension of 400/220 KV substation in Malda and other towns in northern Bengal. This order has been received from Power Grid Corporation of India.

The Haryana order worth Rs 48.88 crore has come from state-run HVPNL. SPML will be setting up 220 KV GIS substation in Faridabad in the northern state of Haryana.

Taking a note of the developments, share price of SPML Infra increased by nearly 9 % in Wednesday early trade and at the time of filing this report, the stock is trading at Rs 62.1 in an intraday basis. The share price SPML Infra witnessed significant spurt in terms of volume.
