Ashoka Buildcon's stock is buzzing on bourses as the company won a NHAI project. The stock touched 52-week high of Rs 199.65 per share, gaining above 7% on intraday basis.

Ashoka Concessions, the company’s subsidiary,  had bid for NHAI project of six laning from Ranastalam to Anandpuram (Vishakhapatnam) section of NH-5 (new NH-16) in the state of Andhra Pradesh under NHDP Phase – V (Package III) on a Hybrid Annnuity Model.

Ashoka Concessions emerged as the lowest bidder and the bid project cost quoted by ACL is Rs 1187.10 crore.

The stock in a period of one year has delivered nearly 10% returns, underperforming the BSE Small-cap and Nifty Infrastructure indices over the same time span.
