ARSS Infrastructure, today announced that the company has been awarded a work order, amounting to Rs 140.32 crore. Soon after the announcement by the shares of the company zoomed over 4% on Monday’s trading session.

The work order is for execution of track linking (excluding supply of rails, thick web switches and PSC lime sleeper) OHE, S&T and other allied works from Haridaspur (Km 0.00) to Kendrapara (Km 43.873).

The work order will include Kendrapara yard in connection with construction of New BG Railway line from Haridaspur to Paradeep (Km 81.200) in Khurda Road Division of east coast railway in the state of Odisha, India.

The company has been awarded the work order by Rail Vikas Nigam Limited on March 3, 2017. The stocks of ARSS Infrastructure Projects have delivered 97.35% returns in a period of one year, underperforming the BSE Small-cap index and the Nifty Infrastructure index over the same time span.
