Crompton Greaves is having a bad day on the bourses. The interesting thing is the company posted good numbers this quarter, however it seems like the stock has not embraced the results well. The stock in the last one year has fallen by 44%.

Reliance, HDFC and Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund are the top three fund houses which have invested in the stock of the company. Reliance Mutual Fund is the top fund house, making an investment of 9.34% of the equity capital.

Crompton Greaves is engaged in manufacturing, design and marketing of products related to power generation, distribution and transmission. Crompton Greaves Ltd is currently trading at Rs 67.3, down by Rs 3.9 or 5.48% from its previous closing of Rs 71.2 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 70 and has touched a high and low of Rs 70 and Rs 66.45 respectively. So far 12199126(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 4462.43 crore.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 88.65 on 18-Aug-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs 38.79 on 12-Feb-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 73.4 and Rs 68 respectively. The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.38 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 50.55 % and 14.93 % respectively. The stock is currently trading above its 200 DMA.
