Major indices i.e. Sensex & Nifty are trading volatile on Monday taking cues from European markets with all the major indices trading down including FTSE, German DAX, CAC40 and Swiss SMI. With several of the key PSU stocks soaring on bourses on Monday, the BSE CPSE index is up by more than 1.11% or 18 points trading at 1622.82 levels.

BEML is the top gainer in the PSU space, up by almost 6.5%, followed by NALCO, which is up by 4.16%. SAIL is up by 5.16%; whereas HPCL is up by 4.07%. HPCL, ONGC and BPCL due to higher weightages are however, influencing the index gains with all the three companies put together having contributed to almost 50% of the BSE CPSE index gains.

HOCL is the biggest loser in the index in Monday's trading session. BEML Ltd is currently trading at Rs 1232.8, up by Rs 74.15 or 6.4% from its previous closing of Rs 1158.65 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 1140.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs 1235.2 and Rs 1140.05 respectively. So far 1508853(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 4824.62 crore.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 1245 on 13-Jan-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs 770.15 on 23-Nov-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 1226.95 and Rs 1152.15 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.03 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.31 % and 17.66 % respectively. The stock is currently trading above its 50 DMA.
