BSE Capital Goods index sizzles on bourses, outperforming the other sectoral indices, and the index is up by more than 1.4%, trading at 15020 odd levels, up by almost 200 points.

Larsen & Toubro (LT) and BHEL put together have contributed to almost 60% of the index gains,
LT being up by more than 1.12%; whereas BHEL is up by more than 3.75%.

The other index gainers in the Capital Goods space in today’s trade are Welspun Corp, Crompton Greaves, Bharat Electronics and Havells India. Markets are witnessing a broad-based rally with all the major sectoral indices trading in the green.

Larsen & Toubro Ltd is currently trading at Rs 1461.95, up by Rs 12.5 or 0.86% from its previous closing of Rs 1449.45 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 1451 and has touched a high and low of Rs 1469.5 and Rs 1448.9 respectively. So far 401390(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 135186.86 crore.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 1615 on 27-Jul-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs 1016.6 on 12-Feb-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 1463 and Rs 1383 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 0 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 55.58 % and 42.37 % respectively. The stock is currently trading above its 200 DMA.
