Aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices hiked by 8.6% or Rs 4,161 per kiloletre (kl) to Rs 52,540.63 per kl in New Delhi and subsidised LPG rate raised by Rs 2 per cylinder, the 8th increase in cooking gas price in seven months. The hike comes on the back of a 3.7% cut in rates last month.

This is the eighth increase in price since July when the government decided to go in for a small hikes of up to Rs 2 per bottle every month to cut down its subsidy outgo.

SpiceJet Ltd is currently trading at Rs 58.65, up by Rs 1.45 or 2.53% from its previous closing of Rs 57.2 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 56.8 and has touched a high and low of Rs 58.8 and Rs 55.55 respectively. So far 2109603 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 3428.86 crore.

Jet Airways (India) Ltd is currently trading at Rs 354.95, up by Rs 7.6 or 2.19% from its previous closing of Rs 347.35 on the BSE. Interglobe Aviation Ltd is currently trading at Rs 826, up by Rs 4.8 or 0.58% from its previous closing of Rs 821.2 on the BSE.
