Ashoka Buildcon, on January 30, has announced that the company has received a letter of award for a project, viz., turn key contracts for providing APL Service Connection with LT line extension under the State plan (Mukhyamantri Vidhyut Sambandh Nischay Yojna) in 7 circles under the jurisdiction of North Bihar Power Distribution Co. Ltd., Patna for Motihari Circle in the state of Bihar; and the company also stated that the accepted value of the project is Rs 116.72 crore.

Ashoka Buildcon is trading at Rs 189 per share and is up by 4.55 points or 2.47% on the NSE, delivering a return of 2.17% in a period of one year; and has underperformed the BSE Small-cap index and the Nifty Infrastructure index over the same timeframe.
