Andhra Petrochemicals Ltd has informed BSE that the Company is compelled to shut-down the Plant at Visakhapatnam temporarily from December 19, 2016 due to surge in imports coupled with transportation constraints. As and when the Plant operations are resumed, the same will be intimated to Stock Exchange.

Andhra Petrochemicals Ltd is currently trading at Rs 22, up by Rs 0.35 or 1.62% from its previous closing of Rs 21.65 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 21.6 and has touched a high and low of Rs 22.75 and Rs 21.25 respectively. So far 62902(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 183.96 crore.

The BSE group 'XC' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 28.95 on 09-Dec-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs 9.9 on 17-Feb-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 28 and Rs 21 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 45.05 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.05 % and 54.89 % respectively. The stock is currently trading above its 50 DMA.
